2024 Favorite Things: Stocking Stuffer Edition

Holiday shopping is in full swing! For my family, we no longer buy multiple gifts per person. We focus on one valuable gift for each other and then stocking stuffers! For years, my Mom would put soap, new leggings and little chocolate Santa’s in our stocking. I've kept the same tradition and share little wellness or health gifts with my Husband each year. But honestly he is much better at gifting stocking items than me! He always finds something new or a new brand to try. In keeping with Heritage tradition, here are a few items to put some jingle in your jangle:

FAV BEDROOM ADDITION

Kissing under the mistletoe can sometimes lead to sleigh bells jingling, but pelvic pain with sex can be a real buzz kill. I love the products from Ohnut! The comfy, squishy, modular rings of the Ohnut, can stop the unwanted pain with penetrative sex! Great for partners returning to sex after having a baby or pelvic surgery. Also a great option for anyone who gets the stabbing cervix pain with positions like reindeer style (doggie style) or reverse positions. Stack these rings up like a Christmas tree and use as many or as little as you need. They also have a vibrating ring for a bit more excitement and not to mention pain relief to really ring in the new year!

FAV PAIN SUPPORT

Foria, hemp and cannabis personal products are formulated for everything from menstrual and pelvic pain to creating deeper pelvic for intimacy. The lubricants, oils, vulvar moisturizers and body hydration products are all plant based and beautifully packaged (in my opinion). I love Foria's intimacy products including everything from an arousal oil to CBD suppositories to deepen pleasure and eliminate pain.

FAV PREGNANCY & POSTPARTUM

The Frida Mom Upside Down Peri Bottle is a game changer when it comes to perineal care after birth. The peri bottle is the perfect tool for cleaning after pooping and peeing, especially if you have experienced a perineal tear, have stitches, have hemorrhoids, or are just really sore down there. Not giving birth in 2024, peri-bottles are still a great tool for dry vulvar tissue or irritated perineal skin due to menopause, hemorrhoid surgery or just for a squeaky clean bum!

FAV MULTITASKER

After giving birth or having a catheter in, your pelvic floor might have a hard time relaxing, so starting your urine stream can feel hard or impossible. Placing a few drops of peppermint oil into the toilet can help ease any hesitancy with peeing and bring on the flow! You can also diffuse peppermint oil to bring natural holiday fragrance to your home instead of chemical candles, room sprays and wall plug ins. Ditch the Xenoestrogens (bad chemicals that mimic estrogen) this season!

FAV ESSENTIAL

A water bottle is something you probably already have at home, but if not, now is the time to invest in

a large size! Hydration is vital to our pelvic health and makes peeing and pooping, building muscle, and digesting holiday foods much easier. We encourage drinking half your body weight in ounces of water. You know Dr. Becca is a fan of Stanley’s cups, so check out their beautiful plastic/BPA free products and get your drank on!

FAV LUBE

Good Clean Love Lubricants Bring the joy to your jangle, with our favorite lubricant. GCL offers a variety of lubricants with the most compatible pH for the vulva and vaginal tissue.

They variety of lubricants and personal moisturizers goes the bedroom and is a great moisturizer for vulvar and vaginal dryness during pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause and even cancer radiation treatment. Mrs. Claus would approve of this one!

FAV PAIN RELIEF

Biofreeze is a menthol based pain relieving gel that is great for any body part! DO NOT directly on your genitalia! Best used on the glutes, lower back, knees, ankles, and shoulders! After standing for hours cooking our holiday celebrations you will want to have this one on hand to temporarily soothe any joint soreness.
